This is a trick question! One point off for rucola, a quarter point off for positioning the dressing in such a way that our reviewer used it all on the nachos and didn't have any left for drowning the rucola. (Hint: how exactly do chicken wings, mcnuggets, and sweet & sour sauce constitute "tapas"?)
Salmon: the TDD staff were brainstorming on a succinct yet sufficiently evocative description of how awesome this was, but two gunshot-like sounds were heard in the courtyard just now, and we are having trouble deciding on a course of action:
Hit the deck med en gang?
Call the po-po?
Stick neck out to see if anyone needs helps, and risk getting shot?
Encouraged by yesterday's success, we opted to go veggie again. The "vegetarian spring roll" was serviceable but, in the humble opinion of this reviewer, weird. It's not really clear what's inside it, but The Daily Dagens' best guess is: beans refried and refried again ad nauseam.
The Chicken: a great Jaco Pastorius tune, what of it?
Today we opted for the gulrot ("yellow root" == carrot) medallion, italian stallion. We did not regret it. (The beef was tempting but it came with mashed poteter and back then we didn't know our Himalayan friend would let us swap side dishes.)
